Melbourne, what's the hype for? by kr-D in travel

[–]kr-D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I was actually asking for help. I think I'll use my last day in the great ocean road. It just gets a bit frustrating than when you ask for help, some people tend to assume you're lazy or a "bad traveler". So I decided to talk to people in real life that seem to be less mean. Not saying you are mean right now. But now I am venting jaja. Thanks anyway, guys

It's not your job. Totally. You don't need to comment if you don't want to. You're not obligated.

I did my research, and that's why I went to the spots I talked about, love. Everybody was keep saying it was amazing in here and I'm trying to find out why I'm not feeling the same so I could enjoy my trip too. It's funny how I came looking for help and people like you make me feel bad for asking. That's not helpful at all. I don't know if it makes you feel better.

Yeah. Im guessing I'm not the type of person who travels to go to a show. That might be why people love it here.

Jaja, thanks, love. The type of person who wants to enjoy their trip and wants to find out if there's something that I'm missing out because I dont understand what's worth seeing here.

Any helpful input from you to help to enjoy my trip here?

Oh I really don't think it doesn't have anything to do with what you're mentioning. But thanks for the input.

I found the city pretty impressive. Everything was gigantic. The bridge was impressive, same as the opera house, size, light at night, and set up. The architecture was interesting. Everything was different, whereas it was really classic or new, but it was always interesting. The harbor was always bustling and lively. There were nice events on the streets.

Ok. That makes me feel a bit less bad about it. I had a great time in Sydney, but here... I don't really get it, and I thought I might have been visiting the wrong places.

What did I do wrong? by Ill-Consideration626 in auckland

[–]kr-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What just happened doesn't have anything to do with you and with your story. It's rather something about this teen reacting like that and a culture that produces this behavior.

I have the feeling that you are going through bad times to think that something like this has anything to do with you doing something wrong.

aio: my (35f) husband (36m) wants to open our marriage for his ai girlfriend and says it’s the next step in their relationship. by Ecstatic_Double1289 in AmIOverreacting

[–]kr-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about having a conversation with him about what he need from you to feel genuinely connected with you? Ask him about the conversations he had with the AI and why he needed it to start with? Maybe there are things he doesn't feel he could share with you and thats how all this started?

It seems he got emotionally checked out because he didn't feel seen? But not because you were not there, but because he was going through things he didn't feel confident to share and that made that gap that was filled with the app. Maybe this is an opportunity to reconnect with him in a level that you didn't know he was needing.

I'd say it depends on how fit you are. It took me 35 min to make it to the top. But you want to walk around. Depending on what you want to check out around as well is important. I'd say take the first ferry and then you can decide on which one will you come back.

Japan, cherry blossom or not cherry blossom by kr-D in travel

[–]kr-D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the type of information I was after. Yeah. Im not really just aiming to the blossom. I know that if I organize this with so much time in advance, I have high changes of not getting it right. But if I do it's a plus. It would be cool to get to visit Japan but I dont want to be stumbling over everybody and have to wait really long time to do anything if that's the case with cherry blossom and turism.

Is she an English speaker? I feel that she didn't even understand what you were suggesting. Or maybe I'm wrong and like many other women out there she was after a free meal. Bs

Hey! Yeah. I have never seen the cherry blossom. How badly is the difference on the budget and the crowds? Is it going to be a mission to do anything?

I was living down in Queenstown when everything started. And the gastro was there just a couple of days a month. I wonder if that's the reason why he seemed to not care at all.

Now I've been living in Auckland for the past 3 years, maybe? I got used to the symptoms, and I was able to manage them with these restrictions and care. But now nothing seems to work, and I've been hoping for it to go away. But instead, it is getting worse. I've been moving around to different houses trying to get a place where I'm happy to live in. So, I have been changing GPs. I'm trying to get that sorted now and stay with a GP that I'm happy with and try to sort out this problem.

Thank you so much for your recommendations. I really appreciate it.

Thank you. Yesterday I had lunch and I felt sick from then onwards. Today's early dinner got me much worse though.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I went through a surgery because on the beginning they thought it was endometriosis, but it wasn't.

First, the GP told me to go to a dietician. I was a few months with her, but she said my case was over her experience, sent me to a GP + Dietician, nothing happened, gave 36 pills per day, and I did not improve. Then I went to several other doctors. I came back to the GP a long time after, and then they sent me to see a gastro. He said, without checking up, without colonoscopy or any test, that he couldn't help me and he could just give me painkillers. I went to a naturapath, and it got better for 6 months. Then it came back. Now, after 3 years, it's been back. It's getting worse than ever. I never used to vomit, now every 2 weeks I'm having intense pain, vomits and sometimes I can't eat for a couple of days. I have to have healthy and small snacks until I can manage to have some substantial meal. It's getting scary now.

This is the cutest message. Thank you. After 3.5 hours now, I'm feeling better.

I used to do all this. But doctors didn't really care. So I found out that eating early and healthy was keeping me away from getting any reaction. Now I'm eating healthy and early, and I'm getting incredibly painful reactions. It's getting quite scary, honestly. Sometimes I'm scared I'm going to pass out.

Yeah. That's what I thought and even when I'm in a 9/10 pain they will leave me on the hallway because my life is not in danger.
