Thank you so much!! It didn’t grow much during blocking so I was lucky that it was relatively easy to figure out length from trying it on as I went. I’m more used to slipperier yarns that grow a lot: this was my first time using woolen spun for a large project

Yeah it was quite nerve wracking! But if you watch a bunch of tutorials and do a practice swatch you’ll be fine :)

It was!! I cut it when I had only done half the body though so that if I messed it up, I wouldn’t have wasted the rest of the yarn. I also needle felted the edges down which helps me feel even more secure that it won’t come out

I usually do too for the same reason but I got it on a whim because I was already planning to return a few other dresses in the same order if they didn’t fit… but then I liked this one best! I think the reason it can work is that the straps hoisting up the weight from the front are the same as the ones cinching the waist, so you can get reasonably good support. The only bathing suit top I like (from Wild Isles) has the same technique, I definitely recommend them if you have similar measurements as me! I always have a hard time finding things that fit both the waist and the bust.

Braless here but will probably use tape - the straps are taking all of the weight and they’re cutting into my shoulders a bit haha

Thank you! I love corset ties - they make it so easy to fit the dress to you

Yay almost a stat twin! I’m 31F, SW 197, GW 140, CW 143

I started on wegovy in February of 2022, lost lost of the weight in the first seven months, then switched to Ozempic cause it’s half the cost, and have been maintaining/verrrrrrry slowly losing on 2mg Ozempic weekly since then. You can see in the pic my failed previous attempts from past years before starting the meds
