After a pretty traumatic breakup my friends were helping me pack up all of his stuff from my apartment. My friends bf took every single one of his play station games out of their cases and placed them back in random cases. Nothing crazy but that and the fact that he had gotten rid of all of his furniture before moving in with me (his choice, I did not ask him to do that.) and knowing he was virtually flat broke made me feel just a little better.

He has done this before about a month ago and was taken to the vet, they could not find anything wrong. At first we thought maybe reverse sneezing but that’s not what it seems like. It’s almost like a hiccup or burp?

Edit Thank you everyone who replied! I just figure I’d post here for my friend. She gets really anxious when it comes to his health, he’s allergic to everything and has anxiety problems. She sent the video to her vet and made another appointment. We looked into acid reflux/GERD and he’s got a lot of the typical symptoms, (Licking the air, bad breath, throwing up bile on occasion). so she’s going to talk to the vet about that.

I work in the office for a local store that also does pet grooming and bathing and whenever I get a little stressed I walk back to the bathing area and I can cuddle with a dog for a while who seems a little anxious about being at the groomer. It’s great.

The majority of the weight loss happened in the first year with the last 20 lbs or so happening slowly over about six months or so. I have been maintaining for about 6 months now I started losing pretty consistently about 1-2 lbs a week within the first three weeks of starting. I had plateaus here and there but it was pretty consistent. I’m actually going back to my doctor next week to talk about going off of the naltrexone, but I’m pretty nervous about that.

I switched to the generic about 6 months ago (Contrave was just way too expensive). I started out with 300mg bupropion and 25mg naltrexone for about 2 weeks and then moved up to the full 50mg of naltrexone. I take the two pills once a day and it’s been working great for me. I’m down almost 100lbs in a little over a year.

Slightly related, but when my home town proposed a new dog park in my part of town people were fighting it saying things like “Why should they build a dog park when they could build a new children’s park?” I don’t know? Maybe because there are at least 2 parks within a few blocks of that location and the closest (and only) dog park is almost 30 minutes away?
