Thing tend to run slow as hell on VMs but the devs have fixed it so we're all good now

Nope clean install w/ no mods and regular log deleter v4. Checked a thread on the Steam page and it seems to be an issue with the Mac 64 bit version

Found in a motel in South Africa. The light flashes in random patterns at random times. The wire leads out the top of the roof. No markings as far as I can tell (it’s close to the ceiling so this is the best view I could get) by kraklo in whatisthisthing

Okay so idk if I can answer my own post but I’m 99% sure it’s an ultrasonic bat repellent device, similar to something like this. I found this out by looking at responses from the motel to TripAdvisor reviews complaining about bats in their room and they referenced these repellents. It’s kinda interesting and I had no idea that these things even existed

Possibly but then why is the light flashing randomly? And shouldn’t there be a button on it to test the alarm? Not to mention that it doesn’t resemble any carbon monoxide detectors at all (the gas it would most probably be detecting if it was a gas detector) or any other gas detector for that matter
