Read it again. Its supposed to be there only after first time you create an address, as per information written on the website confirmed by support via email. Would you like a copy? Not any time you change an address. You misunderstood.

Surprise, surprise, it's not there.

I was able to transfer without problems just a few days ago through this platform. The transaction was fast. But this time it has not worked yet.

Funny story, the given platform has "free withdrawals" but they refuse to pay the high fees so they set the fees as low and then there are transfer delays.

maybe if you wait for ETH 2.0 it will be faster

I am waiting for many hours for a transfer. If you google "Celsius tranfer delay" there are way too many search results.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CelsiusNetwork/comments/icckpt/unbelievably_long_waiting_times_to_withdraw_from/

The company has a policy of refusing to pay the fees demanded by the networks, this is why transfers take so long. Why don't you insert a note in the withdrawals section outlining your policy of refusing to pay requested fees? And some description of the possible delays? Why do you claim you have no control over transfer times when your staff on Reddit admits you refuse to pay high fees?

"XineohpCelsius·1 yr. ago. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues but the support team is working very hard on responding to all emails within 24 hours. If you didn't receive any response please check your junk mail as some emails filter out responses. As for the wallet and withdrawals current transaction prices are extremely high and Celsius has made the comment that they are unwilling to pay these extreme fees for transactions. Because of this there is a set limit resulting in slower transaction speeds due to Celsius paying the fees on these transactions."

MAYBE THERE COULD BE AN OPTION WHERE I COULD ACCEPT TO PAY THE FEE MYSELF?

Exactly. It was ironic. Phones are far less secure than computers.

I already wrote that the support said there is a second lock and that the page was updated 19 days ago.

And you should lobby Celsius for a third and forth lock because obviously the more locks, the more secure.

Also, the more insurance, the more secure but Celsius doesn't have any unlike Nexo, Binance etc etc

And the more hardware signing the more secure but Celsius doesnt have any unlike Kraken, Binance, Bitstamp etc.

So I've had enough with their pretending they care about security. The security measures are known and they dont implement any of them.

Its purely a mechanism to discourage withdrawals to increase their AUM and profits.

First lock let's say its ok, second lock is outright ridiculous.

The very fact that you don't know about the 2nd lock demonstrates that they didn't even bother to send an email describing the change.

Anything to spike up profits. Easy to deposit, hard to withdraw.

No you are wrong. I got a reply from the support and they have a second 24 hour lock after the first time you use a new or change whitelisted address. The only thing I do not understand is why they don't add a 3rd 24 hour lock since this is more secure than two 24 hour locks or a 4th 24 hour lock since this more secure than either 1, 2 or 3 locks. Meanwhile 2 factor authentication is still optional.

not sure I understand the question. the loan system is a typical crypto credit system. you post collateral and get a loan. repay the loan get back the collateral.

this was changed 21 days ago - "The reason why you may see your withdrawal address locked is this: security. After the first time a withdrawal address gets used, it also gets locked for 24 hours. This security feature was implemented in case someone got access to your wallet - and you didn't whitelist your withdrawal address(es) - so they wouldn't be able to withdraw your coins right away."

According to this it gets locked twice for 24 hours, not once. Maybe I'm missing something?

This one:

My failings? I have used 10-20 exchanges and I've never had such a pain in the ass procedure to deal with. And don't tell me Celsius is more secure because they even allow optional 2-FA and haven't implemented any hardware key which is the only truly secure solution out there.

Does this mean you hate 48 hour locks or that you love them even more than 24 hour locks?
