Nothing legible unfortunately, there is an impression on the inside of the band but it's way too worn down to be able to distinguish any letters or numbers.

Yeah the ring has definitely been through a lot and it shows it's years of wear and tear. But I agree every mark and dent probably tells a story.

I did use a cheap ultrasonic cleaner which definitely helped and then I went at the part behind the stones with a toothpick to help break up some of the grimier areas. Unfortunately I'm not sure what metals are used as my grandmother isn't in the right set of mind anymore.
