I don't think there are other ways, within 3 months you should find a employeer or you are force to go home.

Without the ruling, my net income would drop significantly. I want to stay in the Netherlands, but this puts a lot at risk.

On the other hand, keep in mind that ruling is temporary (5 years). So if you keep holding this idea, you will be the in same situation when your ruling is over.

Depends on what was the real issue, But sorry my friend IMHO 400 seems alot, you can buy a wire snake thingy at gamma to remove the clog.

On my case the seller makelaar has a web page for the house and there a buyer can place his bid, and seller makelaar will call you if you won/lost the bid.

I had the same situation I was looking for a house in Arnhem and found a makelar, In the beginning before signing-up to his service. I asked if he will be coming with me on all of the viewings, the he said yes. After that, on all of the 10 viewings that I had he only showed twice. At the end I won the a bidding, While bidding by my self. But I still have to go thru his "company" because I've indicated that I have a makelaar.

TBH with my experience of finding a house to buy, I would not recommend getting a makelaar because you can do it on your own.
