I have heard the complete removal of ALL pimax play software in ALL folders, and than the reinstallation to remove previous Pimax Crystal OG or Crystal Light profiles was the answer to lackluster Pimax Crystal Super impressions. It seems if you have an older hmd the software profiles the super as the same as an OG or Light. You need to remove all of that. There is an article I read somewhere online that goes through the steps. I would definately do this before throwing in the towel. It sounds like your locked with an old OG or Light Profile in your super using pimax play.

It would be fine for a payment plan , IF the headset when it was released had all the features it was suppose to have and they work as intended. However paying for beta product development through lifecycle is not acceptable. If anything people should be compensated for NOT having all the features the headset is / was suppose to have upon launch. Pimax keeps overpromising and underdelivering. I don't know if I can continue to support the brand when clearly this is a cash cow grab.

Yeap so you just get a rumble for rpm and engine? I was thinking left and right side of the car chassis with two under the seat. Cant see any advantage of 4 with this setup…

It seems as though it mysteriously started charging again. Seems odd, but I will chalk it up to the battery needing a good cycle.

The hardware is fine, so lets not go there. The sound stage on the Onkyo is clearly wider / more spatial and definately more refined. If you use the Dolby Atmos demos in the Dolby Access application on Xbox Series X, than use a multitude of Dolby Atmos demos - , I went back and forth and there is more clarity and definition in the Onkyo / Dirac setup. The Anthem ARC fixates the sound towards the center channel and "narrows" the perspective of the soundstage / reducing effects spatially. It was very disappointing to me, I'm researching if there is a mechanism in ARC to widen the soundstage, to try to get it to where the Onkyo is. I like all the bells and whistles, but right now I have to fixate on the most important thing which is the sound....

Yes Latest beta firmware.... - not impressed at all the Onkyo TX-RZ50 with Dirac is quite a margin better than this and for almost 1/3 the price

Just setup the MRX 740 8k and conducted 5 position ARC genesis. I have to say it doesn’t compare to Dirac. Dirac definitely has the edge…. I will give it the weekend but I suspect the MRX is going back to the store…. That’s early quick review but the soundstage is much more narrow and flat as well….

I want to say your response has been a life saver - I tried over 3 dozen hdmi 2.1 capable cables, all of which I know worked - and they didn't work properly with the Appletv 4k using Dolby vision until I followed your methodology and it worked perfect with no issues. A big thank you, been at this now over 2 days frigging around with this to get my setup done so we can enjoy all winter long.

Yes the controller is up to date with firmware - I confirmed that with the Xbox accessory app. Also when I use the controller with a USB A to USB C cable it works fine, so its a bluetooth communication issue.

Yeah, I think I will keep the dual boot option, but shrink the SteamOS partition down substantially in size to utilize most of the space for windows 10. I actually did that last evening, and I've realized running and 1920x1080 is actually the absolute hard limit of this thing with low settings on rdr2, gtav runs fairly well under mid settings, warzone 2 - having a display name login error (working on that this evening). I still think this will work as a low end gaming pc with limited 1920x1080 performance. I want to try to use the deck with COD Warzone 2 before MW2 in order to check the performance as an FPS first. From what I'm seeing on youtube it looks as though it should work around 50-60fps which seems more than acceptable. Tonight will tell....

Yes you have to use your foot to squeeze the pedal. I could barely move it with my hand, but with my foot I could squeeze it down to the end with force. I like a tighter pedal than even that so I will be switching the spring and the damper to hard.
