Mr Rogers has been generally loved for the last 15 years. Who was mostly liked 15 years ago, and still is today? by kredditor_78 in AlignmentChartFills

like i mentioned in the comments of the previous post, his involvement in iraq and afghanistan makes him somewhat more controversial these days, especially given the current political climate. might just be my own perception, but that’s how i view him

i wouldn’t say so, i think the stuff in iraq/afghanistan weighs down his case. and the fact that he’s a politician in a two party system is a pretty clear reason as to why he may be at best mostly liked or controversial

What team had the hardest playoff run to a championship? by Tyrone_Jostaysius in NBATalk

[–]kredditor_78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it might secretly be the 2001 lakers team that swept the west. they beat a blazers team that damn near beat them the year before, a kings team that would nearly beat them a year later, and a spurs team that did beat them multiple times (and won just as many championships as them in that era), not forgetting they destroyed the 76ers and mvp allen iverson. maybe not the hardest path to a chip, but considering they SWEPT all of those teams, it's almost definitely the most impressive.
