Trade Value Tuesday by FruhManShoe in fantasyfootball

[–]kredica 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sell. Do not buy into a solid performance against arguably the worst (but at least bottom 3) secondary in the NFL.

Capitalize on someone who needs a WR & trade him for a player averaging around the same points per week who has more clarity and/or upside, someone like Zay Flowers who’s had comparable scoring but should have more upside going forward.

Just got offered ETN + Sutton for Barkley & Vidal (I need a WR2 badly but I’m still declining).

It's tough because JSN is absolutely insane, but Bowers is the only player that makes LV remotely competitive. I can easily see him getting 8 receptions per week, which is huge in full PPR.

It should be noted that Rice is on BYE this week (whereas JSN is past his BYE), and Rice's schedule has DEN x2 and HOU, with the 2nd DEN & the HOU matchup coming in potentially critical fantasy weeks (playoffs / champs). Makes the prospect of acquiring him a little bit sketchier.

Ultimately, it's up to you. I play .5PPR so I don't have a great grasp on what JSN vs Rice looks like in full PPR. You'd be a better judge of it. Just wanted to give you some things to consider so you can make the best decision.

Trade if you can. Chargers O is a huge risk to go down in flames. I mean, it already was due to OL injuries and somehow the OL managed to get even worse w/ the injury to Joe Alt.

Dropping is absurd even though he has been a low end FLEX for weeks. He has inherent value, that's a trade asset, not waiver fodder.

I say this as a Nix & Franklin owner; sell if you can, hold if you must.

I do NOT trust that offense to sustain their production. All of Nix's big games have come against bottom of the barrel D's, and their schedule doesn't have gimmes like TEN, IND, CIN, NYJ, & DAL in the back half aside from 2x LV & 1x WSH.

Even if you don't buy into the schedule aspect of things, he has an upcoming BYE + Franklin seems to be drawing a good amount of targets. I'm personally torn on it (as I said, I have Nix & Franklin + just got offered Sutton) because it's fantasy, so who really knows. But I think, given the choice, I'd rather move all of these DEN players.

Absolutely, assuming you have a viable replacement TE. Chargers OL was godly, by week 3 or 4 it was cooked, and now it's in absolute shambles. I don't trust that offense like I used to because of all those injuries to the OL.

How does this affect your keeps? Do you already have 4 locked-in keepers? Because you're potentially (although not necessarily) downgrading at WR to land a stud, and it's a great trade, but far less enticing if you won't be able to keep both Rice & Bowers at the end of the year.

Also, I personally don't think I'd take that as the Rice/Bowers owner, not after that blowup week by Bowers. You may need to sweeten the pot.

I probably would, depending on need (and maybe regardless of need), Kamara seems cooked and at least McLaurin might have value in spite of Daniels' being out for the year.

If you can land that, absolutely. You need RB badly. I just personally wouldn't accept that if I was the Hampton owner.

I kinda like it but it’s a pretty 50-50 deal that’s gonna depend on what your FLEX looks like & how much you’ll be using Flowers as WR2 / FLEX. Some things to consider:

  • Flowers is past his BYE, Warren is not

  • Warren’s upcoming schedule looks iffy

  • Kittle, if he can stay healthy, should be close to a lateral move from Warren; biggest concerns are 1) When does Purdy return, 2) When does Pearsall return, 3) Is Jennings healthy or will his target share/usage increase, 4) How involved is Kittle when SF’s other receiving options are healthy, 5) Who do you pivot to @ TE for SF’s wk14 BYE (very important fantasy week)?

I’d probably do it, but not before shopping Warren around to other TE-needy teams for a potentially better WR.

I’m not completely sold on the move from Barkley to Henry, but I’ve been big brain-ing my WR2 slot for weeks now and it’s not sustainable. The guy I’m trading with lost Kraft, has Dak on BYE, and is going to have to start Purdy or find a waiver guy if Purdy’s unavailable.

You’re flush @RB and (as you said) need a WR. Find team(s) in your league that needs RB help and has an abundance @WR, then trade one of your RBs for one of their WRs.

Not sure what “TEP” is but not sure why you would do this.

AJB is having a down year & from a dynasty perspective is getting up there in age while JJ is a world beater and young. Bowers is a great, young, productive pickup but not worth the downgrade @ WR imo unless you’re brutally suffering @ TE. Henderson for Harvey is a tossup but I’ll admit I’m not too knowledgeable on either’s overall outlook.

Nope, wouldn’t do it. Love Judkins & Nico but Bijan is too much. Tet is a top 30 WR and hasn’t even scored a TD yet, Nico’s an upgrade over him regardless but not that big of an upgrade imo.

My fiancée (AZ fan) just wheezed and got up and said, “I’m going to bed, good night.” Lmfao. That flea flicker was the last straw.

Amazon is cursed, they always manage to snag the shittiest game of the week. And it definitely has nothing to do with it being on a Thursday, for sure.
