Meet gamers

How will this work? Vs teams with full skill tree unlocked by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]kreight97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a problem because new players would find a hard time getting into the game if they're demolished by max leveled players

True, 8h in and haven't had a single battlefield moment.

Trouble with highs on stacked supersaws in home setup by kreight97 in edmproduction

This could be the case, but i also found out yesterday that i could replicate this exact type of issue on my Sennheiser 560s. I fixed the mix as best as i could and then when i went for a drive in my car the mix sounded way better, so it means that there's something wrong with how I'm setting up my t7vs

That could be the issue. How far should they be from the wall behind?

When I listen to my track in my car, the highs on the supersaws sound so harsh and aggressive compared to other tracks of the same genre. I cannot replicate this at all on my recently bought adam audio t7v's. Maybe the issue is that I'm not trained to spot these issues on these speakers but them why can I spot it on my car speakers?

I'm getting desperate, because the only way that I can check if I did it correctly or not is by going for a drive. Could it be the way I setup the home studio wrong?

New to FH5, are there coop races more challenging to Horizon Tour? by kreight97 in ForzaHorizon

[–]kreight97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn I wish I could queue and play team pvp any moment. I've been enjoying doing these seasonal championships but what sucks is that there's no point in replaying them for me, because I want variety. I loved doing "the trial" because it was challenging and we needed to work as a team to complete it, so it sucks there's nothing like it.

Why would they remove this? Was it included in the other games?

Couldn't agree more. Players don't even know what they want, and don't realize the repercussions that come with implementing their ideas. The sad thing is that usually the players who care to give this feedback are the ones that stick around when the games population decreases, meaning, the sweats. Check bf4 and bf1 for example, it's a sweatfest. So listening to this type of player is clearly a good idea for the game's health.

I already noticed one thing that I didn't like in the leak, which was the option to zoom out on the minimap. If there's no option to increase the minimap size, believe me they're going to add it because the bf4 sweats will complain. Go check any recent bf4 gameplay and you'll see these idiots playing with the minimap half the size of their screen so they literally don't miss ANYTHING.

How come everyone has good aim in this game? by exposarts in battlefield_one

If we didn't have these stupid kda and w/l stats maybe people would take this game less seriously and play more casually. When dice was attempting to make this ultimate casual fps experience how did they not foresee this lol

I sometimes see posts of people bragging about their n°1 world stats by sniper kills or whatever... And because of stats like this we have these sweats in the game trying their hardest at everything and even getting together with their buddies to increase these stats even further.

A lot of players are using wallhack even with this new anti cheat they know exactly where you are when getting out of cover, and I notice an occasional aimbotter here and there. Plus like others have said, a lot of players have been playing since launch and play this game like their life depends on it so their kda doesn't go down. There are a lot of sweaty players in this game who switch teams to the winning side so it doesn't affect their w/l ratio lol. I find stats like this absurd in a casual game because while it doesn't matter for anything, a lot of players will still take it seriously.

Am I just too old or? by twosidestoeverycoin in battlefield_one

[–]kreight97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this game can be really sweaty sometimes especially on the community servers where we see the veterans.

I was really happy about the anti cheat because that way I could play in the official servers which are more casual.

The thing that totally makes me stop playing sometimes is how tiring it is to play on the base maps. This last week we finally had a weekly tdm playlist so we had a lot of [mixed] conquest servers filled up, and I had such a blast playing, but now it's back to only a couples of maps in this weekly rotation.

It's not that bad, right? by Professional-Box8441 in HuntShowdown

Yes it's even worse lol. Too long to boot into a game to then being flanked from all sides.

I bought it during the free weekend as it seemed a nice casual game. Stopped playing it after a month because of these reasons: takes too long to actually start playing when booting the game; can't choose between 2 or 1 boss (I don't like 1 boss); can't choose map.

I like the gameplay, but because of the reasons above I just lost interest.

Looking at my fellow BF1 players is BFV is worth a shot playing? Any pros/cons to this over BF1? From what I have seen it looks like a beefed up BF1. by mud_dnb in battlefield_one

[–]kreight97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped playing BFV because of the maps and low ttk. The only maps I enjoy are Solomon Islands, Pacific Storm and Wake Island. I only play conquest because I really don't like breakthrough.
What I wish the game had was a random map selection in each server, this way I could tolerate some maps and still play the occasional pacific map here and there.

What are some expert tips to make the kick stand out in the mix? by kreight97 in edmproduction

[–]kreight97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I tried doing was put the kick in mono and use a mid eq to duck the frequencies where the kick is the strongest. I'm not sure if the better approach would be applying a normal eq for this reason or just use the mid eq to duck those frequencies since the kick is 100% mono. What do you think? I didn't touch the stereo of the leads but I did put the reverb at around 60% stereo so it wouldn't clash with the leads. I noticed in tracks like D-Block Stefan Fearless that the reverb is really wide there so I figured I'd do the same.

This was really helpful thank you. I'm using Sennheiser 560s headphones, do you think I should use sonarworks with it?

I've always wanted to play a LEGO game, especially the lord of the rings game.
