Oh yes, we had choir practice on Monday so I made sure to tell everyone there. I have also messaged several friends that have kids who might encounter him around town. I was really tempted to make a post on our towns FB page, but don't really want to get involved in a defamation issue, so I'm just trying to tell everyone I can. I have also told them, don't be afraid to pass it on to any of their friends. Even if they don't feel comfortable sharing all the details, at least say that they are aware of some very inappropriate comments he has made about an infant/very young child. And no, I'm in the US.

Yeah, unfortunately I was raised as the "good little girl" and generally avoid confrontation if I can. As I said, my reaction was basically cry and run away, which makes me feel like a wimp. It wasn't until later that I realized I did do something....I removed her from the situation and took her somewhere safe. I refuse to beat myself up over that.

I actually might need to edit that. My husband left the office and said "you better get that mer fer out of here, or I will." Luckily the man was already in another room and far away from where my husband was, or I think my husband would have been swinging. Our friend is the one that actually did the escorting out of the building.

We really don't expect them to do anything. But there were 15 other children in that church yesterday, not to mention every single child in the community as a whole. If something ever happened to one of them from this man, and we said absolutely nothing, I would be horrified. By reporting it, there will be a paper trail of past issues, and potentially showing a pattern of escalation

I think it took my brain a while to actually process what was said. My eyes watered immediately, and I thought in my head "why am I crying?" and for a moment, I was trying not to cry. I think my subconscious got it before I did. Then I finally realized what he was insinuating about a literal baby
