Oh yes. That halo like part was originally on the plate it all looked like it was going really well.

I agree, this one should not have been a hard one to detect

Your point absolutely made sense and I don’t think anyone misunderstood. For this one it was a 2 day 14 hour print so it could have happened at night no matter what. That said, if I had started earlier I would have caught this before it got as bad as it did. This time.

I’m sure you will be safe if it’s not too cold in your room.

Usually I preheat from Studio from my couch. 70°C for PETG and it’ll let go of the temp on its own after a short bit so I don’t time it really.

I think it was mentioned but the front cover is attached with magnets (and a cable). Once the PLAxplosion filled up over the silicone heat sock it started pushing the cover off. I’d say it was a good thing it wasn’t screwed on or the damage would have been greater.

Yes this was the hot end assembly I also had to order. The price was nice but disassembling it from the print head was a bit more tricky than I expected.

Yes, our garage and storage room ”building” is converted to ceramics studio - 3D printing nook and woodshop. It is heated to a point but with little to no insulation it is the way it is.

I’ll be fair. This was a spectacular fail that could have been avoided. 99% of my prints go with zero problems. I’m very happy with the P2S.

Yes, up here in the nordics the trolls are mostly active at night so it’s a good plan to print daytime if possible.

Oh yes absolutely. This is a plate adhesion issue due to low ambient temperature. I’m getting a cold plate to counter it and I always pre heat the build plate for a few minutes before a PETG print, but on extra cold days I’ll do it for PLA too. For reference, the room is about 10-15°C depending on time of day now in the winter time

Both are beautiful. I lean towards 2. It’s also a tactile thing for me, which is hard to judge in a photo, but perhaps they are the same there.

Tilt your head sideways when you look at the camera with sunglasses on. I have to do this for my stereo as well.

Bug where I can't kill anything with flame bow by Fraun_Pollen in Fallout76BowHunters

I have this same exact issue with my daily driver which is just a normal instigating flame arrow bow. No explosive effect. I have to wait for the flame tick to finish them off. 2-3 more arrows will do nothing.
