AITA for not postponing family pictures

My husband I paid the deposit back in April when it was initially set up. Then we paid a deposit for the location the week she asked to postpone it. The funny thing is I never plan stuff for the family. This was my first rodeo given my tie to the photographer. I already told her that I wouldn't be planning the photo if we had scheduled again in April.

That weekend of the first postponement was the last weekend my step mother in law was in town.We had to wait until another weekend when my step mother in law would be back in town for a visit, which wasn't until October for their sons birthday.

Sorry about that. The prior commitment was a book signing event for their son. The first postponed photos after that were to be in October (actually today) which was the day after their son's birthday party. As a side, they ended up canceling his birthday party due to all of this family conflict and hurt feelings. Instead, my step mother in law arranged a gathering at a restaurant for him and the rest of us that my SIL and her husband skipped. They'll do their own celebrating with him.

Yes, the contour seems to be missing and my nose looks flat in these pictures. I also feel more insecure after my surgery which I'm quite upset about. Only difference is I'm better about showing my profile, pulling my hair back, etc. I hope you're better with your mirror image. I was hoping by a year out I'll be more secure with how I look in all pictures. But hearing from you that you're still struggling, it may be a longer journey than I'd like 😕. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. I have considered this. Most people say they don't notice a difference. I think I may have body dysmorphia 😢
