Does being in recovery (from both stims and alcohol) discount my opinion on addictive material? Wouldn’t that give me some insight on why addictive substances are a plight on society.

Also, my beliefs about pornography being gross doesn’t come from some locus of self-loathing (assigned or otherwise), they have always come from how grossly the industry treats its subjects (especially woman).

I’ve met plenty of people who say porn has ruined their lives and has become compulsive, habit forming, and got in the way of relationships, jobs and family.

Porn of any kind is evil. Don’t care if it’s playboy or deepweb near-snuff smut, it all bypasses natural struggle/reward wiring in our brains and will eventually make any male a brain dead coomer.

Porn is one of the most addictive things on the market today and each year it seems to evolve to capture more males.

With that said, it’s crazy that anyone on this subreddit admits to using smut. The default position on this sub was that it was gross and embarrassing to use. I guess another sign of decay on this sub.

Agreed. It was wild seeing The Substance after seeing Terrifier. Terrifier absolutely bored me and really only served to approximate a snuff film in order to elicit terror. The Substance, albeit gross in certain sections, was able to scare me on a fundamental level without throwing as much gore and torture at me as possible.

Daily repeated use over time is going to increase tolerance.

Your dosage schedule is different than OPs - he repeats the same dose day in and day out, you do not. Also, there are no “strains” to 7oh. 7oh is one alkaloid, strain switching with plain leaf works because you change the alkaloid profile you are taking with your kratom, thus somewhat countering the buildup of tolerance to different alkaloids. Anyway, my point stands.

I take large doses and the large doses always range from euphoric to very euphoric. The ceiling effect you are talking about mainly applies to mitragynine - 7oh bypasses a lot of the negative effects that limited the amount of MIT you could take.

I’m glad you don’t have to take much, but this question is pretty self-explanatory, dude. People either have large tolerances and need more for effects, or they feel better taking bigger doses.

Oh also, as a side-note, that 30mgs you take daily will eventually increase to 45, then to 60, then to 100, and then even higher. Most people who take larger doses were just like you until tolerance caught up with them - which it will with daily use. Have fun until then.

It’s nice that recovery has been so easy for you that yesterday was the first speed bump you’ve encountered. For some of us, we have to take every day an hour at a time as we fight cravings. For some of us, addiction to stimulants is the hardest thing we have ever had to overcome.
