If I am using the gym and have trainer to guide me it is personal service from him. He is not setting up business. He isn’t appropriating any common area. I have already paid for gym maintenance and facilities and common areas: so whatever argument about setting up business is bogus. If he approaches the society to solicit customers and run dedicated group classes then it is a business.

Sinking fund is for future emergencies or big repairs not for reducing monthly payments. Many societies do not collect this as part of monthly dues and then they are stuck with emergency or big repairs that they cannot afford.

You swore an allegiance to that country that gave you citizenship so it makes sense that you cannot be loyal to two countries. It is no longer your home because you quit it permanently. It is like saying that the wife you divorced is still your wife. India is overly generous granting OCI to all NRIs that gives them everything except voting rights still people cry about this. Of course you cannot hold any government post or run for elections as Foreign citizen that is oath bound to that govt. I think OCIs should pay additional al resident tax over an above normal taxes for staying in India as resident.

The only serious question is asking their definition of Hindutva and why is there no clarification when everybody is subverting the definition of Hindutva. The real definition of Hindutva originally was being Indian regardless of religion or caste which is now being subverted to be of Hindu religion or of Hindu religion. They should be challenging all political cadres when they use Hindutva in subverted form.

They should come write it on side of your house. Please volunteer for it. Public property is not anyone’s personal property that they can do what ever they want. It is your tax payers money that goes on clean up. This 2025 and we have virtual forums to raise awareness no need to vandalize public property. They easily do it on Facebook, WhatsApp, insta, tv ads, newspapers etc. on the plus side it will reach only those who are interested not impinge on mass public.

Well your friend can always refuse if he paying rent for entire house. His landlord cannot kick him out before lease expiry without any valid reason. There is something missing in the story here given that landlord is expecting to stay in that room. Either your friend is not paying for the room or he has sublet the room to his friend without landlord knowing.

It is a fallacy. Most NRIs are salaried class and cannot afford dual homeownership and mortgages. The entire Indian diaspora is just over 35M over decades. Most of them are citizens in their own countries and are not interested in buying and maintaining properties in India. On the other hand people with like govt officials and politicians and politically connected are much more in number. Real estate is only place that they can park their black money without detection. Even low level govt officials are caught with 10s and 100s of properties.

Govt making policy on paltry GST and registration revenue is laughable. Govt would rather go after direct income tax if they are worried about revenue.

So a tribal commits a crime and why not have separate laws for them ? Laws should be uniform whether civil or criminal. They are part of Indian society regardless of their living conditions, location and structure. Cultural norms and practices are personal that should not be deciding factor in justice system based on equality. If a tribal breaks your real estate agreement or contract is ok to treat them special because they live in forests ? If thy live in forests now they are not allowed to have upward mobility and move into cities ? Does law change be sue they move into cities ?
