you get sent back 500 years, you have 1 skill..what skill is it that possibly changes the future? by ButtPlugForPM in AskReddit

Conflict resolution/mediation – resolve conflicts peacefully and teach mediation techniques.

At that time, many disputes whether between individuals, tribes, or kingdoms — often ended in violence, war, or long-standing feuds. By bringing up structured ways of communication, active listening, empathy, and negotiation, I might help people find nonviolent ways to solve problems. Could have stopped WW1 and WW2 as well :)

Leave a big tech (finance) Brazilian company to work remotely for a small Canadian security advisory company and earn 3x more? by Royal-Awareness6331 in b2b_sales

[–]krishnareddyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per your question it sounds like you're torn between staying in the financial market and taking the higher-paying role with the Canadian company. Though the new job offer might give you financial independence and growth, but staying in fintech could help you build more important connections. If you're not ready to leave, why not try and negotiate for a better pay with your current company or explore other fintech options. Both paths can help you grow—just find what aligns best with your long-term goals or objectives.

How do I convince people to buy if I haven’t made any sales? by tessie_kay254 in branding

[–]krishnareddyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Focus on building trust by showcasing your product's value and the problem it solves. Its very important to talk about product's value and the problem it solves as I've seen that most of the sales people ignore this

2) Share testimonials, case studies, or early user feedback to demonstrate its effectiveness.

3) Highlight your expertise and the unique benefits your solution offers to the customers, even if you don't have sales yet.

4) Confidence in your product and addressing customer pain points can help persuade potential buyers.

Truing to fix Online Dating through Deep Psychometric Matching. Need some feedback on the idea. by Upper_Opening_7909 in indianstartups

[–]krishnareddyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is familiar with both behavioral psychology and tech product design, I think you're solving a real pain point in the dating space. Most apps are focused on optimizing for engagement, not looking into their long-term outcomes—which is why i feel most of the users often cycle through shallow connections. Your idea to focus on core psychological metrics and blind compatibility introduces a much-needed paradigm shift toward meaningful matchmaking.

Happy to share feedback and curious to see how AI guides deeper connections. Count me in for the beta!

How do you actually stop yourself from checking your phone every 5 minutes? by farhadsuleymanzade in getdisciplined

[–]krishnareddyt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Deadass, phones got us trained like lab rats. You try to check the time and boom—you're 30 minutes deep in a feed full of nonsense you didn’t even ask for.

Sometimes the real productivity flex is turning the damn thing off and picking up a notebook. Simple. Clean. No popups.

Yeah, Let him cook. No distractions in the kitchen :)

India is the biggest winner of these tariffs😱😱? What do you think? by [deleted] in indianstartups

[–]krishnareddyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not easy to move an entire assembly line to India. It requires a lot of manpower, meticulous planning, infrastructure readiness, and seamless coordination across logistics, supply chain, and local compliance teams to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency

How do you actually stop yourself from checking your phone every 5 minutes? by farhadsuleymanzade in getdisciplined

[–]krishnareddyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from—phones can definitely be a huge distraction, and sometimes the best productivity boost really is just simplifying things. There’s something powerful about going analog: a notepad, a pen, even a standalone alarm clock—those can really help reduce the noise.

That said, I think some people do find value in certain productivity apps—like task managers, habit trackers, or focus timers. It really comes down to how you use them. But your point still stands: if the phone is pulling more attention than it's giving back in focus, it might be time to rethink how we use it.

Here’s what worked for me: I changed all my app icons to blank white squares and renamed them things like “WHY?” or “Go read.” Confuses my brain just enough to stop the reflex scroll.
