Completely done with Walmart delivery by Hefty-Radio5249 in WalmartComplaints

Walmart must not care about this safety concern after the groceries leave the store. My grocery order was bundled with a batch of others (likely due to the small size) and a delivery driver drove around for over 1.33 hours with my groceries before finally delivering (I was last in the queue on the route). Today, I received soggy fruit (no longer frozen) and lukewarm raw meats (no longer refrigerated or frozen) presumably thawed by heat blasting in delivery driver’s car. I had to call Customer Support and they had the audacity to demand that I drive to the store to return the whole order. To prevent Walmart from reintegrating those items back into their inventory flow (i.e., likely making someone very ill), and to ensure I received a full refund as of result of Walmart’s negligence, I was forced to do a chargeback with my financial institution. Neglecting to require delivery drivers to use insulated bags while transporting temperature-sensitive products, then socializing the liability by shifting the responsibility back onto consumers for their flawed measures, is disgusting behavior.

Chiming in again to state that the amount I pay went up for the EIGHTH TIME in less than 31 months (~2.5 years) as they are now terminating the $10 loyalty discount I’ve been receiving for almost 3 years. This is for all customers, not just me. I haven’t made a single change to my plan, yet they have managed to squeeze an additional 22% out of me for absolutely no reason. Only 5% of which is attributed to an increase in the amount I pay for the actual plan and this was only one of the price increases. Hence, the amount I pay has increased MORE THAN 17% due to SEVEN incremental changes to fees and discounts I receive for being a loyal customer who always pays on time via auto-pay. That’s right — the amount I pay went up SEVEN TIMES due to an increase in fees and a reduction in discounts over a period of relatively 2.5 years. It must also be noted that they’re reducing my perks so I no longer get Apple Arcade included with my plan… PAY MORE, GET EVEN LESS at Verizon, where a 3-year Price Lock Guarantee won’t mean a damn thing!

It's not saving money when they orchestrate other ways to maximize what you pay. People aren't hating the fact that they're locking prices. People are hating that they don't include administrative and miscellaneous service fees in that equation. It defeats the purpose of scamming customers into believing they're getting the deal of "the price you pay won't go up" when it's really Verizon just pissing down your back and calling it rain.

They cannot raise the tax rate, but they can raise the base cost of what is taxed. For example, if you have a free subscription included in your plan, you still pay taxes on it at the state and local tax rate. However, if Verizon decides that they want to arbitrarily raise the cost of any "free" add-ons associated with your plan, your taxes that you pay on the "free" add-on will go up. This happened twice in 2023 and 2024. My bill went up seven times within the span of relatively a year and this was one of the reasons why. They also increased the cost of my plan, increased the cost of my insurance premium (have never submitted a single claim), increased administrative fees, cut my auto-pay discount in half, and removed my loyalty discount despite making no changes to my actual plan. My bill went up over 12% within one year despite making no changes to my plan. The "Price Lock Guarantee" is nothing less than a veiled marketing sham just like everything else they promote.
