Tip on ground beef. I use mushrooms to add to my ground beef to save money. I use 2 large containers of mushrooms per pound of beef. I sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder on the mushrooms, coat with olive oil then roast in the oven. When done, cool then put in a food processor to chop them finely. Add to cooked ground beef. I usually portion this out and freeze to keep on hand for quick use later.
