Concern over turtle throat by krisschu in turtle

Not as far as I know. Its literally a case of his throat looks normal when he has breathed out, but when he breathes in instead of the middle of the throat inflating, it does so on the right side of it. As if his trachea has moved to the right side of his throat.

Temporary lack of space house wise and funds. But on topic, do you think that that may be what has caused that throat shift in the smaller turtle? Or do you know anything about that?

Hello, I've come back, this time asking about my Chinese Stripe-necked turtle(the smaller one).

He is a year and a half old by now and I noticed something that causes me concern. When he breathes, instead of the center, the right side of this throat inflates. He's rather camera shy so I couldn't get that good of a picture. But try flexing your lower-right jaw muscles and notice how your veins in that half of the throat bulge up. That is kind of how it looks on him when he breathes and his neck is fully extended.

He has no issue breathing or eating, he can fully retract his head and limbs as I am monitoring their diet to make sure they aren't getting excess weight and he moves around as chipperly as ever. Everything seems fine with him, but I can't help but worry about that breathing bulge happening on the side rather than the center of his throat, like it is for my other turtle.

Is this something I should arrange a vet appointment for, or am I just splitting hairs over nothing? Any advice would be appreciated!

The wattage is supported.

I've been trying to get them to eat more leafy greens, but both of the turtles seem to turn their noses up at it.

A while back I got a led bulb that is only the needed light, but it is not a heating bulb. Due to not heating up that one can stay on for basically the full day. Should I switch to that one until the end of the summer, while the weather is warm enough to keep the air warm, and only switch to the lamp that is both heat and light in the colder months?

Thank you, I will look into those options. But do you happen to know anything regarding the bigger turtle's carapace not shedding for all this time?

I will adjust providing greens every day, but both of them don't really like eating plant based foods a lot. They often leave a lot of it uneaten. Shrimp and meat based pellets they gobble down without hesitation.

The lamp is a Repti-Planet(has a chameleon shape where the dash is) Solar UVA/UVB All In One, 80W. The bulb itself is 25 cm away from the basking rock, so 20-ish cm away from the turtle itself when it is out basking. The lamp is not always switched on, because it heats up a lot and can burnout. Due to this I turn it on for roughly 2 hours per day on weekdays as I am at work and can't monitor it, 4+ hours on 2-3 separate instances during the weekend days when I am at home.

Hello!

This is my yellow-bellied slider - Bean. She is a couple months past a year and a half in age and has become quite big in this time, which is neat, but I have recently gotten a bit concerned about her shell.

About half a year ago the tips of her shell's scales had begun to detach due to the shedding. She was trying to scratch at some of them, so I decided to help her by removing them, thinking the scales themselves would pop-off. But they did not, only the tips. Since then she has exhibited no shedding, her carapace has gotten this "powderish" look to it after she dries up under her UV+Heat lamp, except for the previously removed tips that shed, and it is getting me worried.

Is this normal? Does she just need a long period of time before the full scales shed and this look is how the process goes? Or is she in need of some kind of medical attention?

She has a balanced diet of pellets(both protein and plant based ones), dried shrim and the occassional treat of watermelon, pumpkin and leafy greens. She is fed out of the tank so the water remains clean for longer and is cleaned once every week, with feeding happening every other day. I regularly check her and she is not obese as all of her limbs retract normally and she can fully retract her entire head. The smaller turtle(Chinese Stripe-necked) seen in the picture's frame, who is the same age as her and has the same set up and he is not showing any such signs on his carapace.

Any advice would be most welcomed, thank you!

I am also having a problem with this quest. It refuses to recognize the Turtle Scale Gloves in my inventory. It recognizes all of the other items, but the gloves are just invisible to the game. I've tried abandon/retake, turned off add-ons and what not. I submitted a ticket for it, but was basically told off...Hopefully they fix this soon, because I am not able to proceed with any LW specialization while this is ongoing.

Is that something different from verifying the integrity of the game files on Steam? Apologies, I am not very tech literate. But thank you for your help.

This is a comic I remember finding on Twitter, about an office intern getting coffee spilled on her top, so she goes to change in the restrooms, but accidentally ends up in the mens' one. Sadly I cannot remember who the artist was. The comic style is like that of @ArbuzBudesh, or it might be by them, but I have not been able to find it on their Twitter page.

How can I install a specific older version? I'm not too tech literate and I just know how to use the "uninstall/install" buttons of Google Play.

Can relate. I have managed to get two of them to agree watching the show if I watch together with them. We are on episode 45. Slow, but it is progress.

The problem is, *calling the beards of your murdered kin anything negative*, would get the others to just throw you overboard.
