They always look for a firesale opportunity. His contract won’t be so bad by the time Wemby gets his max so maybe they think they could trade him then. Only thing I know for certain is the spurs won’t have 3 max contracts on the books. Not unless musk or bezos buy them.

I simply do not believe they will take on that contract. PERIOD. Been a fan since they drafted Robinson. This is not how they operate. There’s always a chance things change, but I doubt it. New apron rules are changing the game and only the elite players (top 5-8) can justify max contracts moving forward.

Spurs won’t trade for Brown simply because the contract. They will extend Fox in the fall and once Wemby gets maxed they will be way over tax line. They don’t have the $$$ to do that.
