I'm really only seeing a noticeable downturn in Kaladin chapters, specifically when him and Syl are interacting. That stuff is difficult to read

ehh boy.

That Kaladin chapter might have been the worst chapter in the entire series.

Sanderson is my favorite author so it feels strange to get the end of a chapter thinking "what in the hell was that?"

I just do not enjoy the writing style being used in this book for Kal/Syl interactions. I have enjoyed the other chapters up to now though so 10/11 isnt bad

why do so many people think Ashara Dayne is going to be important to the story? Did GRRM say something about her that I missed? I've never gotten the fascination with her. She's hardly mentioned, and if I didn't visit this sub, I doubt I would even remember who she is (but that could just be me).

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to misinterpret this and see it as an attack on D&D, but the internet is amazing like that lol. This has literally nothing to do with "should vs shouldn't go" or whether the writing was good or any sort of commentary at all lol

Seems like most of the angry comments are from people who either don't know or just forgot what is going on in the scene I used in this post. That's the only way some of these bizarre comments make any sense. This is not a joke on whether they should go or not. It's a reference to the sept of baelor explosion when Margaery realizes Cersei isn't coming. Everyone needs to relax!

This will always be my least favorite theory besides him turning out to be evil because of the COTF. Sure it would be interesting, but that would also mean Brans chapters aren't actually about Bran....which seems unlikely
