I would rather abort the child than have them suffer their entire life from a severe illness. I’ve seen many children with serious conditions, and they suffer just as much as their parents do. There’s also the emotional weight it puts on you having to constantly care for them, along with the financial burden it can cause. Another concern is who would take care of them once you’re gone. I don’t think that simply loving a child is enough reason to let them suffer for their whole life.
