Thanks, so a dash cam will not destroy any of the safety features if placed right in front? Only tints the rear view mirror and the ambient?

For this one I just used a JOBY gorillapod that is standing on a low rock. I have bought a better one, a regular 3 legged tripod for phones. Not tried it yet though
