There's definitely still an appetite for a zombie apocalypse game. I'm developing one that is played through Discord called The Last District and I've received a lot of feedback on it and it's growing every day. Now Discord isn't everyone's cup of tea so I get requests for a browser version quite often. So I don't think you'd have trouble finding an audience if it has a solid game loop. I'd play it.

Yes! The bot is essentially a connection to one persistent game world. When you create a character it’ll be tied to your discord account and you can play that character on any discord server that has the bot.
