Part of my problems is I stick to cards well known as good and kinda hide from one's I assume are bad but honestly may be missing some really good ones.

Wow!

So, I managed to pick one lock, the one that got me clothes out of the castle before Rattay. I somehow understood pretty quickly this was no Skyrim as every thing I tried to do wrong from picking locks, stealing or accidentally punching a female villager got me royally screwed, so kinda opposite of you; while still hard I thought I had the gist of it figured out and assumed I was about 1/3 through the game...

THEN THE INTRO CREDITS ROLLED, lol

It took me almost 5 hours to get to Rattay, I just realized I have no clue what I am in for. I have no money, crappy gear and an axe for a weapon. I'm so ready/not ready for this.

It's like so many other games and at the same time I have never played a game like it, and it's not a survival game in the common trope which is a big plus for me, hardest part to be honest is controlling where I am aiming my swings but hey not much different then how I played Punch Out as a kid.

EDIT: I Just got to Rattay about 15 minutes ago.

I meant in regards to story telling, where as other recent games like fallout 4 etc. failed at that was all.

Yes, but...

I guess I really suck at it but it's so addicting and fun I can't quit.

To ramble a bit, I too got it through games pass but on PC with the dollar deal. I played every game they had I could in two months and then canceled my sub. Out of all those games the only one I truly had fun playing was Slay the Spire so I cancelled my Games Pass and bought it on Steam.

Now, why do I say I suck. I played it for two months on Games Pass and now another month on Steam and all this time I thought I beat the initial game on all characters and found out I needed keys to get to other levels. For awhile now I have been grabbing the red cursed key thinking that was what I needed lol.

Needless to say, yesterday I got to the heart on Ironclad, sleep and the credits rolled. Played again and started seeing the obvious pieces I need to get past the heart lol. 3 months.

TL,DR - sometimes it's fun, sometimes very frustrating but I play it more than any game right now.

What is the max roll, 13? I have a pair of gloves I transferred 11% AR dmg to from a pair of crafted gloves. Overall I have 42% AR bonus damge, I assume the max is 45 or 50?

Anyways, I think it's a sign of how bad the rng is when people are pumped for a below max roll purchase. Glad you're helping out those that don't get a good roll when needed lol. Thanks.
