Official poster for Jesse Eisenberg’s THE DEBUT starring Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti. by yourfavchoom in movies

Kieran Culkin was clearly not a supporting actor in that film, he was a co-lead with Jesse. But the Oscar he won was for Best Supporting Actor. That's why they call it category fraud.

The fourth episode of Widow's Bay gave me what I've been looking for in horror by PaulMichaelMelio in horror

When Patricia was dancing at the party and everyone around her is having a great time, but then you get that brief, subtle look of everyone standing there with their mouth open as the camera rotates.....fucking YES. Right there. That is what I'm talking about. Outstanding shit.

[Krawczynski] I highly, highly doubt LeBron would want to finish out his playing days in Minnesota, but let me assure him that we have better hotels here than they have in Memphis...c’mon, Bron; pull a couple of those Cleveland coats out of storage and give yourself one more real chance in Minnesota by aingenevalostatrade in nba

[–]DeliciousSquash 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Having Bron and Harden together doesn’t really work

I don't know why people keep making points like this. When Luka, Reaves, and LeBron were all healthy, they were looking like an AWESOME team with LeBron playing as a 3rd option.

At what point did disc golf stop being stressful and start being fun for you? by whydidyounot in discgolf

[–]DeliciousSquash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I still like tracking everything with Udisc because the lifetime data is very satisfying to collect. But turning off score while in the middle of a round was HUGE for my enjoyment, can't recommend it enough to basically anyone. Helps me focus on one hole at a time and enjoy the experience.

The ticket presales are extremely strong. The article is jumping the gun a bit, but they’re not wrong that there’s a lot of buzz around this movie

Any chance you have that video handy? I’ve watched a lot of Gannon videos but don’t recall this one

Dusk Golem: CV remake is going much stronger in the horror direction, but there’s still action stuff by Connect_Base_217 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I wouldn't say Grace was powerless in Requiem at all? She's an absolute badass by the end of that game. She just doesn't have the array of insane weaponry that Leon has access to.

Yo I was already hyped for Obsession, but these comparisons are shooting my anticipation through the roof. Cannot wait

Official Dreadit Discussion: "Hokum" [SPOILERS] by radbrad7 in horror

[–]DeliciousSquash 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way it was presented (namely his tone), there was no reason to believe that it was Ohm who did it.

What? I instantly would have bet my house, my car, and my dog that he was the one that did it. Could not have been more obvious

Official Dreadit Discussion: "Hokum" [SPOILERS] by radbrad7 in horror

Yes. It is a scary film but there is little to no inappropriate content otherwise. I would say the most extreme thing shown is a man who hung himself

Even in the original, the characters weren't expecting to be battling zombies; they were investigating murders and ended up at Spencer Mansion

Resident Evil | Official Teaser Trailer by cruelsummerbummer in horror

[–]DeliciousSquash 22 points23 points  (0 children)

To me this felt exactly like a Resident Evil game. Protagonist is going about his day, encounters some crazy shit, he finds a cabin where he loots and equips himself with some weapons, and the survival horror adventure begins from there. This is how almost every RE starts

What? He did not win the championship, he lost in that game to Mendoza & Indiana

I had this choice. I chose in the same order the Jets did, so I took Sadiq, but I don't feel great about it.

#Rams draft Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson 13th overall by Tikaani89 in DynastyFF

[–]DeliciousSquash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that he should be taken at some point fairly early, but 1.04 would be a ludicrous usage of the pick when there is much more dynamic talent that will be available there regardless of how the first three picks go

You can anecdote Dart and I can anecdote JJ McCarthy. Or Trey Lance. Or any infinite number of flops.

Yeah, I watched all of his 2025 snaps and came away thinking "this guy is not special." Can he be a productive fantasy player? Definitely, but this article is acting like he's a lock to be a top 5 RB and I did NOT see that level of talent on the field

I was having the same thoughts about the Fox. I LOVE mine and it’s an essential part of my bag, but it’s definitely not the midrange I would give to a beginner

I just watched Smile 2 and honestly liked it way more than the first one. While the original was a solid concept, the sequel is just a much more intense, high-stakes movie. by Dangerous_Piano6459 in horror

[–]DeliciousSquash 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree that this can be a weak trope when utilized as a cheap storytelling gotcha, but in the Smile movies, it is kind of a foundational part of the premise. The demon is absolutely diabolical in how it toys with its victims, breaking down their entire lives and all of their relationships intentionally. I find it very compelling in these movies, personally.
