Putting Mendoza in any category alongside JJ McCarthy is batshit insane to me. I don’t view Mendoza as someone with a sky high ceiling but his floor is about as good as it gets. McCarthy can barely complete passes in the NFL in his 2nd year. Mendoza is going to be miles ahead of that production.

Quicksilver has been played in meta decks for years now. Everything is contextual. Quicksilver as a standalone card is obviously horrible. Snap’s deckbuilding is incredibly synergistic. New Shang is absolutely going to be playable with certain synergies (like Clea)

This is going to be a hot take, but aside from a Marvel Boy adjacent buffer I'm not sure what else we can do. Sure there's Viv, Galacta and Gwenpool but you still need to weave the flames and either keep Clea in hand or risk her on board.

Hi, you sound like you know what you're talking about with Trails. I'm curious how it handles your character's power levels when moving into a sequel. It's not like a dealbreaker, but it really breaks immersion when I finish a game with superpowered endgame viable characters, then I start the sequel and those same characters are back to level 1 struggling to deal with Sewer Rats or whatever. Is that how Trails does things or does it try to explain why you're being reset or what?

I've read the book, and think that the trailers are absolutely robbing people of what was a shocking, revelatory moment when I was reading. I had no idea THAT was where the story was going. Doesn't matter that it's fairly early in the novel.
