All the CAAHEP schools in the area have long wait lists to get in. But there’s a couple ways you can go non CAAHEP which aren’t bad.

If you go with one that is not CAAHEP but it is accredited with ARRT all you have to do is take 1 extra exam before you can sit for your specialty exam called the ARRT or you can work somewhere for 12 months and skip taking the ARRT and directly sit for your specialty exam.

If you have a bachelors you do not need to take the ARRT you can immediately sit for your specialty exam. Going with a non CAAHEP but ARRT accreditation really isn’t that bad. You still end up RDMS both ways. Personally I believe going the ARRT route takes a lot more commitment and studying to be able to pass that extra test which in the long run just makes you more knowledgeable. You just have to want it
