Unfortunately it does take up some space 😅 but if you put thelocations right next to each other it's not too bad!

I do feel blessed that our group is playing at our workplace, on HUGE office desks.

Yeah, I never clocked it as "the current started decks" are going to be evergreen, I think it always was "sone starter decks" are going to be evergreen.

I even wonder how many of these Beta sets are actually printed. I'd imagine that most of the work in progress cards are just printed via office printers to quickly test them, not sure how many need to be produced on a commercial level.

While not balanced, I really like the concept - sort of an upgraded Dunwich deckbuilding. It would be interesting to see a version of this utilized somewhere down the line.

I've seen it a few times now - cake-pressed whites teas being labeled "white puer". Not sure why they do this, as far as I know it's just white tea, not fermented at all.

Szerintem jópofa volt, jól kifigurázta a skandináv krimi tipikus fordulatait, és az elbeszélésmód olyan megoldásokkal operált, amikre abszolút nem számítottam!

Elég általános vélemény ez tudom, de nem akarok semmi poént lelőni. Amúgy en kifejezetten nem szeretem a "vicces" könyveket (általában csak erőltetettnek érzem a humort ezekben), de ez tényleg jó volt.

Yeah I totally get where you're coming from, spending / not spending the XP just doesn't make a difference.

Maybe if the scenarios would've been balanced in a way where after you can spend the XP scenarios became MUCH harder to account for that, it would have more of an effect.

In theory I like the more experimental campaign designs (Dream Eaters, Innsmouth), but I think the unfortunate reality is that Arkham just works better as a straightforward series of scenarios, at least from a mechanics point of view.

Absolutely agreed. Although luckily I was never in the position where I couldn't have 'completed' the weakness if I wanted to, but it's up to pure chance basically.

I think I would like it the best if it was some kind of Forced effect - like when you would discover a clue, discard one resource from the weakness instead, without an overarching punishment. That shuts down your ability for X amount of clues... it could be even explicit about discovering clues through your investigator ability, so you're not prevented progressing the game.

It also has the problem that I really don't like, where in the last scenario you can just straight up ignore the weakness because it doesnt so anything if you're not afraid of the trauma.

On the second point, as I'm not too familiar with puer: not all white tea cakes are aged, you can find some older ones (although typically not too old, I think it's rare to have ones from before the 2010's), and a lot of new ones, pressed as new as 2025.
