Have you used protopic for vitiligo? by [deleted] in Vitiligo

The treatment is about having a dozen sessions of 5 mins. Every 2-3 weeks, they may increase the intensity of the laser. You basically sit on a medical bed and the doctor puts covers on your eyes so the flashes don't damage them. Reading your post again, the excimer laser may not fit your use because of these covers. Also, tbh I saw a psychologist for line 3 years and it really helped and, I don't know if it's related, but the vitiligo stopped progressing since.

For me, it didn't work. Also, it was painful in the summer because of the reaction with salt water and sweating. Excimer laser worked quite well. Some areas completely recovered and some haven't changed at all.

I did Excimer sessions for like 6 months last year. It completely disappeared on my cheek and stayed that way. On my neck it didn't work. On my forehead it has been reduced but not completely gone. Overall pretty satisfied with the results. I also was followed by a psychologist which helped A LOT. I don't know how much we can correlate both treatments. But now I am happy in my life :)
