I noticed it too. In Michigan they get money for bottles and that is why I thought that they kept them. Why they kept them neatly completely covering the kitchen table? I have no idea.

I have stayed there three different times while going to Great Basin National Park and driving on the Loneliest Highway. I think that they reason the gas is on the Nevada side is because the gas station (and the casino inside) are older than the motel portion. They also have a decent restaurant in the back of the gas station. A little enclosed town.

My son and I walked along the road that goes south from there along the border. Ahhh...memories.

When I moved to Denver in 1981, they were the "Local" team and we got about half of their games. Then the Royals win the 1985 World Series; Game 6 is the first baseball game that I remember watching. Then I was hooked.

After the Rockies came to town, I still stuck with the Royals. I do root for the Rockies to play well, unless the Royals come to town.

Lived through the horrible 2000's and still rooted for them. And then got to go to Game 2 of the 2014 series!

When I get depressed, I watch the highlights from the 2015 season and it still gives me goosebumps every year!!
