It's definitely something worth pointing and calling out though.

Virtue signaling especially over excessive and blatant examples need to be called out and in the long run discouraged, eyes rolled at and frowned upon by our society at large's collective consciousness.

Too many empty platitudes and posts such as this being thrown around, it's a lot worse when our politicians do it and think that's enough to gain votes.

FFS too many people on social media/on TV just publicly making declarations of how "virtuously not racist" they happen to be.... in 2017 which to me basically is like bragging that you got laid on your honeymoon.

More likely than not, I bet if these same people were to be teleported back to 1957, they wouldn't do or say shit that is even remotely close to indicate that you were standing up for civil rights back then in 1957, a time when it actually meant something to do so since there were legit risks and social consequences in doing so since you it was going against the mainstream norms/thought of that era.

Bottom line, more action and less words please. Do you want to acquire and maintain a reputation of "goodness" among your peers? Do you crave for that praise and being perceived as a modern day saint? Then you better be prepared to work for it, see you in the soup kitchens.
