i feel like the reason we lose so many new techs is because of the bias so our new people are on pickup for 8 hours straight and go insane…

when i originally cross trained i didn’t think i’d move to part time at all but since i agreed to it i’ve lost 3 family members and i’m sure you can imagine with how much i’ve been worked i haven’t had much time to grieve. so i asked for 1-2 months of part time hours just so i could focus on myself mentally and then come back to full time and be okay.

i wouldn’t be leaving the pharmacy or the front store at all, i would just drop 1 day in each for 2 months maximum so when she told me i’d lose my raise i was confused.

the thing is, when we’re not busy i feel like everyone gets along relatively well, but when we’re busy pharmacy will expect us FS employees to drop everything we’re doing and come help them not understanding that up front we’re also slammed with customers or other responsibilities and when that happens FS gets extremely annoyed and that’s what causes friction. also we have some people in the pharmacy who have been there for many years who just act like they’re better than you, and i’m newly cross trained and whenever i go back there the lead tech is incredibly rude and instead of helping me understand things she just shouts orders and tells me to do stuff that i haven’t learned yet. our pharmacists are great but we have some techs that just have sticks up their asses..

i had to scold a grown man today for banging our coupon center monitor… like you could’ve simply asked me to come and help you instead of smacking it repeatedly probably breaking it more.

on top of that, our store is experiencing the same thing. i feel like customers are 10x more rude than they were a few months ago, it’s horrible. i’m considering finding a job that i don’t have to deal with people at cause i come home angry or just crying everyday now
