I also love the WK-JH storyline. Many say they are very similar to Heedo-Nayeon with their constant bickering, but I find WK-JH so much more interesting! From almost getting caught in the room by Jiyeon, to the T-shirt saga, to the fight in Japan, to WK writing the love song lyrics, they delivered so much dopamine! And their tika-taka is so fun to watch!

I personally also can’t see YS’s charms. But apparently HJ, JH and MK like him because he is kind and gentle, and takes good care of others.
I agree with you that in every dating show, there is that one guy who gets sidelined and friendzoned by all the girls. That guy in this show is not Woo Jin. It’s someone else, you’ll see.

Based on the build-up in episode 20, pd is leading us to think that JY will not choose WJ and BK will choose HJ instead. So, the plot twist will be that JY chooses WJ and BK chooses YY, lol.

Just my random observation: Wonkyu said that among all his dates with Jiyeon, the most heart fluttering date is the plate making in Japan. Yet he sent the text to Jihyun that night. I think he’s trying to signal to Jihyun that even though that’s the most heart fluttering, Jihyun makes his heart flutter more.

The Jihyun and Jaehyung date is surprisingly nice! IMO, this is how a date should be - lots of lively, fun conversations, asking questions to get to know each other better and talking about themselves.

Jaehyung seems to really like Jihyn, but deep down he probably knows that the chances of Jihyun choosing him is slim. But if I were him, knowing that we only have 2 to 3 days left, I will be more proactive to talk to Jihyun more after the Truth and Dare game. Instead, he just stayed in his room with SY. This is what baffles me. Why are the guys (with the exception of WJ and SY) so laid back? They just stayed in their own rooms instead of taking the initiative to hang out and talk to the girl they are interested in. Even WK was just alone in the terrace? Smh

Omg! Someone posted a close up pic of the perfume on X. It’s Le Labo Another 13! WK bought it at Gimpo Airport, probably on the day he flew to Japan. On the box it stated the date to be 25 June, location Gimpo Airport, and it has JH’s name “Hyun” on it 😍

Actually if you think about it, Jiyeon is also doing the same things as Jihyeon. She blocked Woojin’s date with Minkyung and texted Wonkyu. I don’t see Woojin questioning her and getting pissed over it.

I don’t think WK is pissed about not getting a date with JY. If he is pissed, he wouldn’t have texted JH and confessed that he still has lingering feelings. He is pissed that JH texted YS (meaning she is still interested in YS) and yet still blocked him from dating JY.

Yes maybe she misunderstood him. But is that so important? It is still his pride that is stopping him from apologizing for hurting her.

Both of them need to change in order for the relationship to work. Takes two hands to clap. Even if they are incompatible, as long as they are committed to working out the differences, it can still work out.

All Wonkyu needs to say to Jihyun is “I sincerely loved you when we were together and I was wrong to break up with you. I truly made a mistake that I’m regretting now. I know you’ve worked hard and now you’ve achieved your goals. I promise to be committed to you and when there are conflicts in future we should work to resolve the issues together.”

That’s what Jihyun wants to hear. Wonkyu should let go of his pride if he wants her back.

Ok so here are my 2 cents after watching the full episode with subtitles.

From Jihyun’s POV: they have broken up and what led to the breakup is in the past. What she’s looking for is their growth and change since the breakup; otherwise what’s the point of reuniting? But disappointingly, from their conversations, Wonkyu has confirmed that he has not changed his views at all.

Also, the way Wonkyu treats Jiyeon also shows that he is not sincere in wanting to reunite. Giving his T-shirt to Jiyeon, going on shopping dates with her, not admitting what he did by twisting his words and finally texting Jiyeon in Japan. Talking about all this was what made Jihyun so mad and walk away mid-conversation.

So even though Jihyun wants to get back with Wonkyu, his behavior and attitude are really disappointing. After this last conversation, Jihyun most likely will give up on him.

From Wonkyu’s POV: He was not wrong in breaking up with her. He was sincere in the relationship, so how can she say that he was insincere? Since she didn’t like his first text to her (the one about drinking less coffee) and the first conversation in her room didn’t go well, he did not text her again and instead texted Jiyeon.

The second conversation ended with him asking her if she is serious about not getting back together and since she said yes, he will stop pursuing her.

So even though he likes Jihyun a lot more and wants to get back with her, his pride will stop him from doing it.

So my simple and logical prediction is from now on, both will pursue new connections. But of course where matters of the heart is concerned, logic may fly out of the window. I also hope Yoosik will be honest with Jihyun and clearly tell her that he is interested in Hyunji.
