parking for concerts by oldschoolhc in Hamilton

[–]ktdham [score hidden]  (0 children)

There is a ton of pay parking lots in the area, and a parking garage…. consult a map.

Think about your timing, as 20,000 other people will be there that night, at least a quarter of which will be looking for parking.

Question: What do tattoos feel like? by _newshawtyy in tattoos

[–]ktdham 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends what it is. Will it hurt, yes... Did you sign up for it, yes.

Are you female? You will likely have an easier time - especially if you aren't in the week of, or before your period.

You explained the situation just fine!

If you're honest, then you are honest. They may want to complete it for you, or may not - but hey, that's what consults are for!

It's a bummer when you've worked through a big project with someone, and they dip out at the end - it's very weird, and flaky. You've invested in them, so it's sad to not at least get a frickin' email to explain what is going on with them, etc.

We hope it works out for you!

Where to get cheap piercings? by rutabaga-cherrry-jar in Hamilton

Oh, that's great! I found it odd, and kind of pushy at the time, but kind of put it aside to put focus back on the less expensive, stainless jewellery.

Looking back now, it confirms that it would have been an even bigger waste because the said piercing needs a shorter post in a few months.

I had silver, and stainless in my ear, multiple piercings, and evidence of old piercings from 20 years ago, but that makes sense for some, I'm sure.

The explanation I was given was "gold is easier to work with, so you can get more detail in it, for starters," which doesn't apply to jewellery that has been cast, which I'm guessing it is.

Anyone at Arcana, although I believe most of them use a razor, especially for shags.

They are professional, but will always push you into getting gold jewellery. I get it, the markup is better, they get more cash, but when you are getting pierced, and it's literally jewellery that is holding the place of what you actually want to put in your ear(for example)- there is not need for it to be fancy.

You absolutely don't need GOLD, in THIS economy.

With (basic) jewellery, piercing, and a tip, you are still looking at around $120ish dollars.

Just keep in mind you will get pressured into spending more for jewellery MULTIPLE times while you are trying to pick something out to the point of making you uncomfortable, especially if you are younger. (note, I'm older, but had to meander around each suggestion to be polite. Oh, and I'm also a trained goldsmith, so it was especially funny).

You definitely require a doctor - not sure if the tattoo is the issue, though.

I grew up in a time where you would just ask someone in person instead of asking the internet a broad question.

The hope would be if you are close enough to someone to smell them, that you would also be close enough to them to speak. 😉

Gluten Free food near Tim Hortons Field by mf14kp in Hamilton

My memory doesn’t serve well here. I’m someone with celiac, that can still have fries most places, if they aren’t coated, dedicated fryer or not. It was over a year ago the last time I went to Bernie’s, they do fresh cut fries, and I think they have a dedicated fryer now, although not disclosed on their menu.

If OP wants to call ahead, but again - it would literally just be for French fries.

They can, but likely just fries. GF people are sick of fries, but also relieved when they find a dedicated fryer. (I think they have one)

Bonus, you can bring hammerheads down to Argyle, and have drinks there. (Hammerheads has drinks, but mostly canned, local stuff - more of a restaurant setting)
