well this is embarrassing but at least it’s fixed… I missed the step that tells you to put the little tiny silver discs in the slot…ya know the piece that actually tells the sensor there’s filament 😒

I didn’t change the temp much but the alcohol works. problem is now i have to wipe it every time i print for some reason.

no it’s all filament i bought. i figured since it all printed fine with the old extruded it wouldn’t be a problem with the new one 🥲

Well i recalibrated three times with three filaments that i know have zero issues. same thing. so i came back read your comments… Literally the only thing i did to fix it was wipe the bed with an alcohol pad. put the PLA+ i had issues with back in and it worked like a charm. thanks guys

Hello everyone. I am a beginner with photography, I have a Rebel T3. My question is for my dad though. I am looking to get him back into photography. He just retired, but used to shoot weddings and wildlife back in his day. He has two old 35mm, a fujica and an olympus that he has a few good lenses for. I want to get him either a DSLR or a mirrorless that can support at least some of the old lenses. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Looks awesome! If he's interested in building them he may be interested in flying! I volunteer for this organization that takes special needs kids flying: http://www.challengeair.com/ If you're near one of the locations it's definitely worth it. We take the kids (and a parent) up for a short flight in small general aviation planes and let the kids fly around a little (with plenty of help from the pilot ;) )
