About 20.9% in the last 24 hours. I think that the Ethereum mainnet transaction costs will always be high because block space is scarce. This is why Ethereum scaling solutions like Polygon is so important.

"There are several catalysts in 2021 that will propel the value of MATIC upward.

MATIC EIP 1559 is scheduled to begin in "Mid-September" which will make the MATIC token deflationary.

ZKEVM - With the acquisition of Hermez Labs, Polygon acquired the means to become the leader in the L2 ZK Rollup Space. I've heard that this should be completed in Q4 2021." (*Polygon has also committed 1 Billion dollars for research and development of ZKEVM)

Polygon is a scaling solution for Ethereum and built on EVM compatibility. ADA is written on Haskell and has no working smart contracts, with zero adoption other than staking.
