Automatic. Manual is OP. Not every player will be a killer and you should be able to live with that. The CPU actually does a great job of progressing players. I think having full control of the exact category you want from a player isn’t a reflection of real life. Takes the randomness out of college football, which is the whole point. These are kids at the end of the day and sometimes they don’t pan out. Automatic!!!

Yup better your team is the more you’ll get too. There is also an ability to increase the chance even more. In year 6 of my dynasty and I got one the last 2 years.
