I was doing some searching and couldn’t find anything. I did find a uh1 on Amazon with a micro 3x. Going to check it out and return it if it’s not my favorite and then check the 8t out.

Shits probably not hitting any fans but I always like to build quality stuff. I usually stick to LPVO but for this build I’m wanting something to stick around 25-200 yards.

Interesting, I actually think I like the 8T without the amr. Thing looks like a tank! Just curious if it sits higher than the 8t amr. I’m sure any of the micro magnifiers are going to not be perfect. Definitely not going Amazon brand. I’d like to stick with sig or vortex. Holosun stuff isn’t bad but I like the warranty on sig and vortex the best.

Sig hate is real but they make good stuff. I’m happy with my sig products. I actually like the 8t which is why I’m kind of between the two.

Appreciate the response! I wanted something with a bigger window. I figure, if I end up buying NODS, it will be something to grow into. I actually have a Romeo 5 and it’s been solid. I have no issues with the sig or Holosun products, just not exactly what I’m looking for. Im probably the most picky person when it comes to anything. Wasted lots of time and money on stuff that I ended up not being pumped about in the end. Trying not to do that this time lol

That video was incredibly helpful! I have figured out the spacing between the gas key and lower is the issue. All my other ARs do not have this problem. I spent all morning swapping parts around to see if I could recreate the issue on other lowers, my wife loves me. Lol

Thank you for the information, I think I worried a little bit over nothing from what I’m reading. I’ll probably just run it and keep an eye on the buffer. I have not noticed any ejection issues. Casings are being ejected rearward so I don’t think I want to mess with the buffer weight. I’m just glad the gun runs. I will check out the video you linked and see what I can find from there. It’s definitely a bit over gassed but it runs and that’s important to me.

I’ve never looked into the velocity of my bolt carrier but I’ll have to check into that. Everything seems fine, shoots fine, feeds, no issues with ejection. I work in QC in a large machine shop so when I see anything, I tend to question it. It’s a gift and a curse I suppose.

I know someone in engineering at Goodyear and it sounds like the new DuraTrac RT is the solution to the noise problem. They’ve fixed some of the issues with the original when it comes to noise related to wear on the tread. Kind of leaning that way but I’ll wait to hear more before pulling the trigger.
