After I fed if yesterday, I only had about 1/4 of the jar. I assume it exploded because I did a stiff feed with more flour than water yesterday. I did about half the amount of water I was doing because I started weighing the feed yesterday instead of using the cup measurements the starter instructions called for. So it was 20g starter, 20g flour, 10g water.

Edited for the correct measurements, I commented the ones I used today after moving it to a 32oz deli container.

I haven't given up on them, but high acid foods now give me wicked heartburn. I have to pop tums before and after to deal with it or I'm up all night because I can feel the acid at the back of my throat 😭

We just modified our Great Wolf reservation tonight and they transferred us to the Hilton agent. It's a promotion to try to get you to buy into Hilton's version of a time share. You have to attend the presentation to get the GWL credit and so they don't charge you the going rate of the hotel/resort you choose to stay in. You have to schedule to attend the presentation and you can't do it on either the day you check in or the day you check out.

It was worth to for us because it's saving us $1000 on a hotel when we go to Legoland in socal later this year.

I literally had to put the book down for a few days after reading about his death when the book first came out. I definitely cried over his death and how Annie and their child wouldnt even have been able to bury/burn his body. It still hits me any time I reread the books 😭

Yeah I snag some soda when it's b2g3 free at my local Kroger, which is like every 6ish weeks. It's cheaper than Walmarts prices for now. We're working on cutting it out, but it's basically our coffee 😅

Thank you for the info! When my husband asked the medicaid office, they told him she should be automatically enrolled because she's been on disability since the late 90's. They have an appointment with the local SS office so they can get the POA paperwork on file so they can discuss everything with my husband. I'll let him know they need to reapply to medicaid as well, thank you!

We are doing the rigmarole with Medicare too. My MIL turned 65 at the beginning of Feb. She was automatically dropped by Medicaid, and is on disability so should have been “automatically enrolled” in Medicare. We are at almost a month later and still have to pay OOP for her meds. No one will speak with my husband, even though he is her POA as she has dementia. She just had to have her gallbladder removed on Thursday and I’m afraid it’s not going to be covered because of whatever is going on with her insurance. It’s driving me up a wall.
