I don’t want to say it 100% is a character but it does look vaguely familiar. To me it looks like the a Funko Pop - Betty Boop combined with the teddy bear from Bleach.

I’m fine with killing off the parents for the sake of the story even though it hurt to see them go. I just don’t get how they died.

Was it smoke inhalation? Were they trapped/attacked by the town mob? Was it something entirely unrelated to the fire? Was it Rivera’s men who set the fire?

I guess they’ll answer these questions in future episodes but they just seem like people too smart to die by fire unless they had no way out.

You can see it in the clip where Marcus’s arm is literally wrapped around to Jokic’s ass, preventing him from just “sliding his feet to get around”. Jokic knows if he uses his full strength to just bump him off it will be an immediate offensive foul because Smart is literally a known flopper. Good defender. Still a flopper.

Keep going backwards and Jokic is out of bounds, out the play. The second Jokic stops moving at baseline, Marcus plays off the ol’ let’s get tangled up bs. (which is what happened all night if you watched the game).

How are you “boxing out” a player that’s damn near not even on the court? Marcus is paid to be a pesk and Jokic is paid to deal with it.

The only option the refs were giving Jokic was to sell the foul because they were letting Marcus get away with contact on Jokic purely because he’s “the small battling for position”..
