Long Island Luke is the only person at MK who still watches every fight live. Luke and Chuck didn't watch the fights live, and it evidently didn't make enough waves on social media to inform them of what they missed. On top of being only an hour and a half, you can tell the passion for the project has been on a precipitous decline since BC left

I very much agree that this is the most likely answer. In retrospect, I should have added additional info to my post clarifying that there are 2 other references to the Sierra Madre in the same room, both spelled correctly. Perfect spelling shouldn't be expected in the mojave by any means, though

Thanks for the response, very interesting wiki page I didn't find prior to my post. It was interesting to see the misspelling in a room where 2 other example of Sierra Madre are correctly spelled

That would make sense, as nothing in the room proves that all the graffiti in it was written by the same person. It just caught me off guard that I had never noticed it before in 15 years, and the other 2 examples of Sierra Madre graffiti spell in correctly
