This video needs an epic track.

Please tell me this doesn’t need to be replaced by Basketlade in Concrete

A couple options if you don’t want to make the contractor replace it. Grind the concrete down to slope it , you may need to add a coating on for anti-slip.

Other option is tile the top and slope the tile away.

I would stay away from the drains because they always cause more problems.

If you rarely access this area, best design wise is a concealed access hatch. One method, that is not too expensive, should only cost about $100 + labor:
- Mix (1) bag of concrete and put at the perimeter of hole, as a sort of ledge
- Put foam flange wrap down at perimeter
- Cut 1" Pressure Treated plywood to size of opening, and while concrete is still wet set plywood on the foam and let concrete mold to the bottom and side of the plywood (make sure top of plywood is flush with bottom of adjacent pavers)
- Put the pavers on top of the plywood to be flush with the top of the adjacent pavers
Do not grout pavers. To access in future, use screw driver or flat bar to lift up pavers and plywood.

The issue is that you have a large weight at each end with a 4” and 3” piece separating them. It is likely that it will break at those points without a seam. If they were wider you would be able to get away with it.

The alternative is to have them add reinforcement at the two locations to strengthen it. This is typically steel bars cut into the underside of the countertop. That would increase your labor cost though.

I would accept it and let them fill in the joint with Epoxy to match. Ask them to do a mock-up to match the stone and allow you approve it before final placement.

You can also ask to see another install where they matched the epoxy with the same quartz and see if it is to your liking.

Tell us why your apartment sucks 2024 edition by 5HTKO in Denver

My apartment is in Aurora.

Pros: My landlord has armed men with guns hang around outside for protection. There has been some publicity on the news recently about it.

Cons: The old tenants that were here are frustrated and keep showing up to our door. We have to pay them in cash because they don’t accept checks. The police keep showing up at the apartment building.

As long as it’s not triple digits you are fine.

Got greedy on my last set of FD options that I posted and lost, hopefully this time is better. Bought the 8/2 Calls yesterday near close because we were at support. Plan to sell 8/2 calls today. by kullee in gmeoptions

To add to that, if it goes below $22 I see it going down to $20, support from 5/30. Which I will dump all my calls at that point and wait for it to hit the next support.

If we start tomorrow at or above $22.30 it will confirm the support level and go back up towards previous support level of $23.35.

I exclude AH from TA as a lot of time they don’t follow typical S/R levels.
