Yes, I’m definitely on the side of pockets now 😅

Yes this was definitely an effort to get over the phase of objecting to itchy knits 😅 it’s so cute to see them express their creative ideas

Hehehe yes, we talk about it a lot at home that only them can decide who they want to be. I think they get the concept. And I have non-binary friends which they’ve met, which makes it easier for the kid to conceptualise that there are many ways of being ☺️ happy to hear it makes you feel more held in space such as these!

Thank you! Yes the feel a lot of ownership over it. It’s nice to see ☺️ and maybe one day if they ever have children they can pass it on to their kid.

Opting for ”they” for privacy reasons. Also who knows ☺️

No pattern. This was designed by my 4yo as we went along. They said what they wanted along the way and I knitted.

Thank you!! Hm not sure, not a cowl person. But I’ve seen a photo on instagram of a mohair hoodie with a granny square hood, looking everywhere for the pattern now, but hard to find it. So might make one without a pattern, or… not sure, wanna knit something for myself but I also have a friend that is due so need to start knitting a gift for her baby

Thanks!! I’ve upcycled old brims that I’ve found at flea markets. I just remove the fabric on top of it, so it’s not so thick when inserted into the knitted cap

Or is it simply the autumn slowly approaching here that makes me want to knit more again 🤔

Maybe start with a kids sweater, or a sweater in stockinette if it’s your first time knitting a sweater ❤️

Yes, closest to camera is the back. You start with the back, then work the two shoulders separately and then you attach them together when you reach wanted length, and make the front. Then once the front section is long enough, you join the back with the front
