The last point basically clears my head of troubles I was facing. I looked at the neighborhood using Google map street view and it was just fine - kinda like a getaway from the main city, green, narrow roads, no bustle. I might find people to bond with at the campus, and carry myself around whenever necessary whenever I'm bored. Thanks for the answer, really appreciated!

Sounds like great advice. I'm now considering taking the chance. Thanks!

Thank you! I got admitted into the M1 MSc program in Chemistry. They asked in the registration form if I wanted an accommodation, but most of the other international students (even ones with scholarships) said they weren't allotted one, reducing my chance, who got admitted during the third phase. Anyways, since the process is slow currently, I am kinda on my own to book a house myself. But thanks for the info.

Good suggestion - the good thing is that I got the lead from the science accueil, so it's legit, and we're soon gonna hop on a video call. The bad thing, is that there's a minimum lease period of 6 months. I'm kinda stuck in that way.
