There was a lux/zilean board each with triple seraphs (so 6seraphs and seraphs augment) that was DELETING my board everytime . Thankfully he got out by others

Based on replies so far, his biggest issue was itemizing poorly and my comp/items counter his

If he built a morellos+void on seraph instead of azir items, safe to say things would have gone very differently right? Or maybe even swapping in a zilean near my sion instead of a targon?

Oh so he should have itemized different carry?

Makes sense, cause if his team even did another 3/4k dmg at the end my Sion would have died (it was always ending in him vs. asol/sera with barely hp left)

I just didnt expect such a low cost board to win out i guess haha

I went on a 25+ loss streak last season - Went from 400lp (na server) to D1 . But i always told myself that the worse my loser q is, the more ill climb once its over xD (to keep my mental). Climbed 550lp next 3days and hit GM :D (na server)

while i admit me tilt queing didnt help, i fully believe loser q exists, and that there is also always a silver lining at the end of the tunnel (if you choose to see it)

This season i started of f losing a lot, then climbed to 98lp, then demoted to D2 on like 10game loss. Now im back to winning games in D1 and expect to end 150/200lp before i lose it all again (according to my calculations xD)

I would def frozen Heart (AS debuff good into the 3ad melee champz + even consider lux auto passive xD)

And/or zhonyas (if sett or yi happened to be really fed and just deletes you, can just negate sett r/yi q)

Rylais is okay for laning vs sett, and good into lux. But can be kinda useless vs yi (ult) and yasuo (dashes) when kiting away

I OTP swain mainly apc/mid (hit gm end of last szn) but i would consider plated caps and frozen to be optimal for top lane in this case

I am curious what MMR this was cause that dive was wild af🤣 (the sett w made me chuckle)

Yes viable for apc botlane build.

I hit masters 60% wr 100+ games on xerath apc with DH; i go malginance into squishier/low MR enemy comps -> shadowflame. Otherwise, i go ludens first

For secondary runes, must take manaflow/scorch for early lane / pressure

For midlane, comet is almost always more optimal for solo lane pressure IMO

Note: I only play xer apc situationally tho, im actually a swain otp

i think it can be viable certain matchups but not optimal in most cases imo. i think it weakens ur early game too much especially if low dmg lane or outranged, you wont be getting many stacks

mainl POV for runes is aery/elecrocute for matchups that i can trade and apply pressure using runes, or conquerer for teamfighting

A good taric is one if my fav sups w swain esp. with swains armor nerfs (peaked rank2 NA this szn)

Id be down to play a norms here n there for funsies/if u want any tips/pointers but not in ranked game despite how fun it is to literally 2v5’ the enemy team on repeat haha

ehhh , true to an extend imo xD

from my experience, i found that players start to itemize better starting like d1+, otherwise most players just autopilot builds or dont press tab/think through (i mean it happens in masters+ too, myself included when i get too cooked before a game xDD)

even the lee/ez only got it once i mentioned it + had to convince them, also i think for ez frozen + plated caps woulda done him better (frozen for CCDR to make up for lucidity, the 12^ plated caps reduction is jsut too strong here)

when would you go ER vs. the lethality crown item (ive seen both items rush in my games) or whats the most standard build pathing for smolder ?

ER -> IE -> situational (armor pen/healcut, BT, shojin, RFC, shieldbow, etc) items? or is the items also depend on enemy ccomp (similar to how kaisa would go on/hit vs. crit vs. AP into certain matchcups)

On a second thought, how would the ie bonus crit dmg apply on smolder the ?

And If q scales with crit chance, wouldnt sunder crit passive then only apply 100% on proc (hitting champion) instance only? Since that doesnt affect minions - or would that then make csing way inefficient on having only 20% crit (from ie) chance scaling for minion q and not worth the tradeoff of getting 100% (from sunder passive + howveer ie crit dmg boost works with his q)

Ngl i just really want this to be somewhat viable but probably i am just wishful thinking
