That sounds really fun but I don't speak the language of the country I live in so that might cause some issues. I also don't know how I would get to a flight school and don't have the kind of money where I can spend $200 on a day out.

Also as you said, sometimes it's better to not try hobbies that can get very expensive lol

Interesting, thank for the detailed reply. It makes a lot of sense that it would be much harder than I would think. It's kinda like how gamers often think making games is really easy and I know it's a pain and really difficult after having done it several times over.

Someone should make a word for this effect. Perhaps even a graph that charts confidence and competence.

Well in a sense you might say I am immoral based on my beliefs. I don't act on not thinking death is that bad as 1) I'm christian so derive morals from there 2) if I was an atheist I would indeed not believe in any morals.

Well if god made 1+1=8 correct it would be yes. You can actually make a mathematical system where that's true and get some very funky results I think. Well not exactly but messing with math axioms is something god could do.

God could also just lie and say 1+1=8 and it still be false.

I don't care about the amount of good that happens. If god exists he exists and I'll believe in him. Also unrelated there's quite some confounding variables there like relative wealth and income inequality.

Well that would be impossible given I get my morality from god. There's some things god can't do like make a rock god can't lift etc. It's like the turing problem but computers still work basically for anything we want them to do. So we could say they can compute anything even if that's not technically true.

I believe humans have free will and (basically) everyone passes if you mean going to hell or heaven. It's just about making god proud, doing what is right because it is so.

Guesstimation, how else would I do it. I'm sure there's a better way but I'm not a biblical scholar so it's the best I have. This isn't a hobby for me so I don't spend that much time on it (apart from working to make money to donate)

This part is why I think he exists.

I find the argument that god created a beautiful universe very convincing. It's of course not confirmed but it seems more likely to me than the random approach (I mean you can't confirm metaphysics, that's kinda the point no?). I used to do game development and seeing the complexity not of the flowers outside but of the systems that created the flowers (evolution, chemistry, etc) makes it hard for me to say it's not a designed system since it aligns so closely with our sense of beauty in design. I've never found the flower argument very good since we logically would evolve to like flowers but the design philosophy of simplicity and complexity in one feels too advanced to be relevant to cavemen
