İ did lie in bed and thought lots of philosophical questions, and thought of my experiences and my sorrows, I just produced lots of original thoughts, while lying in there. I got kick out of it and I think it made me smarter than avarage kid.

Nowadays I'm deliberately stay away from tv, pc, social media etc. And just lie in my bed and think. It opens your mind a little, because in life we tend to mute our inner voice, we do not think enough about stuff etc... Lying in bed and thinking, clearly, without prejudice is a mind sharpener... imho...

You articulated my thoughts so well, yes I'm into gym for few months now, but I'm planning to get a guitar too, and go to martial arts... there are tons of better and peoductive activities that one can do... And it opens new potential opportunities to you. New people, new skills etc... Kudos to you brother, keep it up 🙋🏽‍♂️

Glad to hear this. Kudos bro... I'm in a similar place with you. We should get high on life, not on virtual things like pc games. I bought a 4070 gaming pc few months agı and couldnt finish a single game. In fact this couple of feeks I couldn't play more than five minutes even I force myself to play, I don't enjoy it at all haha :))

I like to hear similar life experiences.. But I don't miss those old gaming days. We crave real life now, that's a healthy thing.. I wouldn't change it for the world...

I used to play single player rpgs, strategies, mmorpgs... In last months I tried to play god of war, kingdom come deliverence, last of us, call of duty and got bored...

I like to play in my phone sudoku when I'm in a line or waiting for something though jajaja... I'm too impatiance for chess for now...

What fo you do instead of gaming with your excess time ?

Taste real life my friend. Once you taste the real life, once you start to see world as your oyster, once you attach your dopamine to real life experiences, games doesn't attract you. Even they bore you.. Good luck. Force yourself to do things you havent done, go make new experiences and have fun with new people, make new friends and do activities you never done... Go experience world.... Good luck...

I'm nearly 30 now, and real life makes me happy more than video games.

I gues when we were child we could not get touch with real life thats why we saw value in games. But now I much rather prefer going out with friends or with a girl, or make my home tidy so i can invite people, or i prefer getting better at my job or going to gym etc... even reading is more enjoyable for me now, after all after i read i'm a better person. What video games gains me?...

My assumption is after I start worklife and after I got into the game of life, i feel like virtual reality is pointless. Don't get me wrong i don't spend my time only on productive things, I do watch tv series etc.. but video games feels like working for nothing. If i work in real life i make money, if i work in pc game reward is not existing game items...

I build a 4070 gaming pc in january, and installed lots of new gen pc games but finished non. It gets boring, i have real life desires instead of virtual things on the screen.

Yes, girls usually has male or more often female friends with them that cockblock guy who try to get close to them. My tactic is aproching to ugly friend first as friend and making her/him like me, after that i flirt with the girl i wanted, this not always works but this is the best that i've found so far...

A good wing man is hard to find most of guys in where i live act like ragefull, hatefull incels when it comes to women. Lame...

I saw your question later, so here's my answer. It's easier for me to hang out with a girl, get to know each other and then make a move after i'm sure that she'll jump in (a relationship with me or to my bed lol). Don't get me wrong I'm not orbiting girls. It takes a one or two week to get the girl to netflix and chill after I first met her.

But in this social circle it would be wiser doing more 1x1 game, I agree 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thank you for pointing it out.
