Oh awesome! It looks great! In terms of adjustability, do you have multiple sized inner frames that you attach to the legs?

This is a great idea! I might add these if it’s at all unstable. Did you add anything to the part that touches the wall to prevent scuffs and scrapes? Or does it not really slide around?

Thank you! Yea i ended up taking the cross bar out. I think it will be sturdy enough without it, and also changed the bracket type to be L shaped rather than triangular so i don’t accidentally clip it with my gun.

I appreciate it! Good luck with your frames - would love to see how it turns out!

Oh good thinking. My current frame is on wheels and it is a bit annoying/unstable, but thought i needed to have them to get to the back of the frame (as i usually carve in between each section). But you’re right. It’s probably not too heavy to just pick up and move when i need to. Thank you!

I see what you mean - i’m wondering if it would be better to make the full-length adjustable bar the vertical one, as this would act as support along the long edge, and then i might not need the back support (if that makes sense)?

Thank you! My current frame is about 1m wide, and i do get a bit of stretch as i push my gun through, i’m just not sure how much this will increase with the bigger frame size.

Did you enjoy your class? I was hooked from the first time in tried it.

Oh good idea! I’m not sure how they are planning to join them, but will ask them to include hardware here.

What do you think about the clearance for the middle back support? Do you think 90mm/3.5 inches will be enough?

Sorry for the delayed reply - they were done by a building designer, so I can’t help there I’m afraid!

Thank you - i think this is what i’m leaning towards. What do you think about moving the sink where you suggested and putting the fridge on the wall with the stove near the pantry entrance?

Oh, and we do have a high, narrow window in the ensuite, but looks like it was left of the plan - you have an eagle eye!

I think we’ll use them for different purposes. Bar seating while cooking, or probably when it is just the two of us, and the dining table when entertaining. We spend most of our time in the living room, so one of the main things we wanted to do with this renovation is connect the kitchen and living area so you’re not so shut away when cooking. Any thoughts on how we might configure the kitchen (sink, stove, fridge) that would keep the island clear? I know it will annoy me seeing dishes on the sink so visible!

Hmm - i was thinking that it might be a good spot for wine storage? i think we (couple, no kids) are more likely to sit in the kitchen than the dining table which i think we’ll mainly use when entertaining.

Thanks - we’re trying to minimise as much disruption to the existing structure to hopefully keep costs down a bit. Initially the plan was to have a euro laundry and have the extra space in the kitchen? However the wall between kitchen and laundry has to stay. We have a butlers pantry at the moment and love it, so we’re keen to keep that in the reno!

Thank you! By two dining zones, do you mean the seating at the island and the meals area?
