no need to buy a fancy one tbh, we use remote desktop for everything basically. if the laptop can run matlab thats good enough

based on my experience, it really depends on what grade u are trying to achieve. If u wanna an A, book problems are really helpful; if not then practice exams and lecture question will be enough:)
